It�s much better to practice your hitting with a wooden bat as opposed to an aluminum bat. A wooden bat will help you learn the strike zone better and will help you hit the ball harder and further more consistently. The reason for all this is because a wooden bat has a smaller sweet spot. If you can learn to always hit the ball on that sweet part of the bat you�ll be an animal with that aluminum bat!
